The endless stream of papers required for a home seller to sell their property is forever changing. The sustainability declaration which was first introduced 1 January 2010 has already had its first release of changes on the 4th February. The new, simpler version of the sustainability declaration was released following feedback from the public and industry about its complexity. Since 1 January 2010, sellers have been required to complete a declaration prior to marketing a house, townhouse or unit for sale. The previous version of the form will still be accepted however you are encouraged to use the new version. The government have released a new reference guide to assist in completing the new form.
