The media certainly had us preparing for the worst year ever and in general, 2009 was a year where many were bracing for a fall that never fully came. At the start of the year confidence was shot and the outlook looked bleak, as most people battled with the idea of job losses and falling investment values. Fortunately the property market weathered the storm.
